The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, BEDC Electricity Plc, Deolu Ijose, felicitates with electricity consumers in Edo, Delta, Ondo and Ekiti States as Nigeria celebrates it’s 63rd Independence anniversary.
This was contained in a press release made available to press men by the Head, Branding and Corporate Communications, Mrs Evelyn Gbiwen.
In the statement the MD/CEO promised that BEDC would play its part in distributing quality electricity to its customers all over its franchise states during the celebratory period.
The MD also enjoined customers and the general public to support BEDC even as she strives to fulfil her commitment to her customers, by refraining from activities such as energy theft and vandalism, which were not just detrimental to the company but also to the nation as a whole.
In the press release, Mr. Deolu made it known that BEDC was doing her best to get rid of corrupt elements within the system who would prey on unsuspecting customers to fatten their pockets, encouraging customers to report any act of corruption by any staff member.
It is also worth noting that Mr. Deolu on behalf of the management of BEDC called for prayers for Nigeria even as the country celebrates this milestone event, stating his belief in the prosperity of Nigeria and the Nigerian people.
BEDC has assured customers that service would continue to be available even as the country celebrates, saying that the 24/7 call centre numbers were open and that technical personnel were also available at the various offices to resolve any technical complaints.
