Ovia South West local government area was today agog as they witnessed the arrival of Army personnel detailed to the Local Government area to help combact any form of insecurity in the area.
Addressing the Personnel and the elated people of ovia at the local government secretariat, the council boss Engr. Edosa Enomwoghomwenma assured the people of his administration continous commitment to ensuring Security of lives and properties in the local government area. Hon Edosa noted that the strategic collaboration with the military, represents a significant step towards ensuring the security of lives and properties in Ovia being one of Edo foremost investment destination. He reaffirmed the resolve of his administration to sustained all efforts geared towards addressing all challenges poised by insecurity in the locality and maintained that the days of kidnapping is over with the presence of the military personnel.
The council boss further assured the military personnel of the People’s collaboration in information sharing that will aid their job in making sure Ovia is safe for all.
With this development, Hon Edosa Enomwoghomwenma administration has again confirmed his capacity to reposition Ovia in its rightful place among comity of Local Government Area in Edo and beyond.
