The Chairman Senate Committee on Ethics and privilege , Senator Neda Imasuen has reassured his constituents his commitment to provide robust representation at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly.
The Senator representing Edo South Senatorial District , Neda Imasuen stated this in a media parley with some Journalists in Edo State .
Senator Neda Imasuen who expressed gratitude to the people of Edo South Senatorial District and all Journalists in Edo State for their unflinching support before, during and after the election noted that he is ready to do the Job he was elected to do.
“One of the way to express my gratitude is to do the Job I have been elected to do and that I am ready committed to accomplish “.
Reacting on the deplorable federal roads in Benin City, Senator Imasuen assured the people of Edo South that measures are being deployed at the Senate to ensure that all federal roads are rehabilitated.
“After my tour on Federal roads in Benin City, I went back to the Senate and I realized that all most all the Senators have the same complains from their regions, so a motion to declare emergency on all federal roads is on the way, we are doing everything to address issues that affects our people”.
Speaking further, Senator Neda appealed to Edo State Electoral Commission (EDSIEC) to ensure the local government election is free, fair and credible with a transparent outcome.
According to him, the outcome of the local government election is a determinant factor as far as development of key areas in Edo State is concerned .
Senator Neda added that Labour Party remains the party to beat as all efforts are being put in place to ensure the Party is properly structured with Barr. Julius Abure as the National Chairman of the party.
