Chief Ikpommwonsa Kelvinson Omoregie Usiohen has expressed immense gratitude to His Royal Majesty, Omo N’ Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo , Ewuare 11, CFR, Oba of Benin for conferring on him a Chieftaincy Title ( The Obasoyen of Benin).
Chief Ikpommwonsa Kelvinson Usiohen stated this in a statement signed and made available to Newsmen in Benin City.
He described the conferment as a good thing in his life but said it came unexpectedly.
The statement said , “l find it as a great honour to be found worthy by the reverend Monarch with this chieftaincy title”.
I thank his Royal Majesty for his Magnanimity and fatherly disposition on the confidence the Palace has bestowed on me as The Obasoyen of Benin.
“I pledge to live up to the expectations in jumping on the cultural, traditional and development stride where his Royal Majesty is the sole navigator with my both hands now on deck more than ever in realizing the Edo of our dreams”.
