The ancient and peaceful town of Igbuzo has been thrown into celebration and heartfelt gratitude as indigenes unite in thanksgiving for one of their own — a God-sent son whose generosity has continued to transform lives in remarkable ways. Though known for his consistent support over the years, his latest December empowerment has been described as unprecedented, unbelievable, and a true demonstration of divine grace at work.
Pastor Idowu Okeze, a shining light and a blessing to the Igbuzo community, has once again proven that genuine love for one’s people is shown not in words but in impactful actions. His December empowerment programme will touch every corner of the town, bringing smiles, relief, and renewed hope during this season of celebration.
The people of Igbuzo, overwhelmed with gratitude, have declared days of prayers and fasting for Pastor Okeze, asking God to grant him long life, protection, and continuous guidance. Many describe him as “a man God sent to wipe tears and lift burdens.
Pastor Okeze’s December empowerment stands out for its scale, planning, and impact, ensuring that families, youths, security structures, and vulnerable residents will all benefit during this festive season. Highlights of the programme include:
1. Distribution of 35 brand-new tricycles (Kekes) to support transportation and youth employment.
2. Distribution of 8 shuttle buses to empower families and transport operators, while easing mobility within and outside the community.
3. Provision of street solar lights to enhance security and illuminate strategic locations across Igbuzo.
4. Distribution of motorbikes to support local security personnel, strengthening community safety efforts.
5. Sharing of 1,000 Christmas welfare packages, including rice, oil, and other essential items for households.
6. Cash grants of ₦100,000 each to at least 1,000 vulnerable residents, ensuring that no family is left behind during the Yuletide season.
For Igbuzo, this is more than empowerment — it is a major relief, a source of joy, and a reassurance that compassion still lives in the hearts of true sons of the soil. The programme will not only ease the burdens of families but also promote economic activity, strengthen local security, and enhance the overall atmosphere of the festive season.
Elders, youths, women groups, and religious bodies have all joined their voices in thanking God for Pastor Okeze’s life. Many testified that such a magnitude of empowerment has never been witnessed before in the history of the town. As the blessings will spread across homes and streets in Igbuzo, the collective prayer of the community remains:
