NIN linking to Mobile Network: Sapele road residents lament over MTN Staff’s inability to attend to Customers

Following the recent directives from all mobile Network services directing all their customers to link their National Identity Number(NIN) to their mobile Network, Nigerians have been panicking, rushing to MTN various offices across the States to avoid being disconnected .

Sapele road residents in Benin City are not left out as they are seen in droves scamping to get the attention of MTN staffs in their office at opposite Adesuwa road.

Scooping for news , it was observed that MTN customers who abandoned their daily work in other to link their lines are lamenting spending days in MTN office and yet not being attended to due to disorganized style of work.

Some of the subscribers who spoke to our Reporter noted that instead of the staff arranging the customers inline with those who have their NIN in a section, and those who had registered their NIN yet, don’t have the number in a different section, they prefer to attend to both class of customers at the same time, therefore causing more delay in the process.

A Man who said he spent the whole of yesterday in MTN office and couldn’t link his line has revealed that with the shady arrangements, he does not have hope of being attended to today.

Another woman who prefers to be anonimous also said she has organized an outreach of more than a thousand people and yet everyone was attended to in an organized manner added that if MTN wants to achieve results in linking Citizens line to their NIN, customers should be made to stand in two lines or section.

According to her, those who have their NIN handy should be made to be in one section while those who need an OTP to get their NIN should be made to stand in another section, in that way, those who have their NIN can be attended to separately while a different staff sort the other group quietly without affecting those that have their NIN.

These outrage of anger has made the customers to request to see the Manager of that branch to enable smooth sail of the linking process.

Efforts to get the Manager of the MTN brĂ nch proved abortive.
