NUJ plan to conferr Icon Award to Distinguish Nigerians, set up 12 Man Organizing committee
The National secretariat of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists has reconstituted the National Secretariat and Lagos state council committee to honour media icons in the country .
In a letter today in Abuja , the National Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalists , Shuaibu Usman Leman named the members of the 12 man committe to include Otunba Gbenga Onayiga as Chairman while Olayide Awosanya will serve as secretary .
Other members of the committee are Adeleye Ajayi, Tunde Olalere, Sylva Okereke, Wale Akodu, Julie Ekong and Abimbola Oyetunde .
Also in the committee are Festus Alenkhe , Grace Ike, lfeanyi Nwanguma and Umar Saidu.
The Media lcons joint planning committee members drawn from the National secretariat of NUJ and the Lagos state council are expected to organize a Media ICONS Award for 2023.
