The Children of Late Mrs. Maria Ekiomaodo Ekhosuehi aged 93 years has buried their Mother in a Grand style.
The burial procession which started from Stella Obasanjo Hospital in Benin City on Wednesday,10th of September, 2024 .to her home town, Ugbokhirima and then to her husband home town in Evbodobion was held a midst fun and glamor.
The atmosphere was lightened with joy, and also filled with a sense of reverence for a life well-lived. The villagers who joined the Children of late Mrs Maria Ekhosuhi alongside family friends and well-wishers sang traditional funeral songs accompanied with beautiful dance steps.
The body of late Maria which was lying in state was beautifully adorned as all that graced the occasion took there turns to pay their final respect to her body..
The traditional rites were however performed according to custom and tradition.
In a similar development, the five day burial ceremony was however wrapped up with a glamorous social dance held in Benin City, where the crem’ d’la in the society were present to dance with the Children of Mrs Maria Ekhosuhi.
