The Vice President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a visionary and people-oriented leader whose administration continues to transform the state through impactful governance.
Dr. Olejeme, a respected public servant, philanthropist, and influential political figure, commended Governor Oborevwori for his dedication to the development of Delta State and the welfare of its citizens. She noted that under his leadership, the state has witnessed significant progress in infrastructure development, social welfare initiatives, and the execution of projects that have improved the lives of people at the grassroots.
According to her, the governor’s commitment to road construction and rehabilitation has continued to connect communities across the length and breadth of the state, enhancing economic activities and improving access to essential services.
She further praised the administration’s efforts in promoting inclusive governance and delivering democratic dividends to all parts of the state, noting that the M.O.R.E Agenda has continued to yield visible results in critical sectors.
Dr. Olejeme particularly highlighted Governor Oborevwori’s recent peace-building initiatives aimed at fostering reconciliation and harmonious coexistence among the Ijaw People, Itsekiri People, and Urhobo People communities. She described the efforts as a demonstration of his commitment to unity, peace, and sustainable development across Delta State.

Dr. Olejeme, who served as Chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund from 2009 to 2015, also chaired Trustfund Pensions Plc and played strategic roles in the implementation of the Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme, one of the Federal Government’s major intervention programmes.
She described Governor Oborevwori as a leader who embodies humility, patience, and compassion in the exercise of authority.
