As Workers celebrate May 1st in commemoration of Workers Day the factional Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC), Edo State council, Comrade Odion Olaye has felicitates with Edo Workers hailing them for their doggedness despite the hash economy.
Comrade Odion Olaye stated this in his office while speaking with Newsmen in Benin City.
He commended Edo Workers for their immense contribution to nation building through their efficient and timely services across all sectors.
Speaking further, he Enjoins Workers to remain steadfast to God as he is able to bring respite to the present hardship in the country.
“The past administration did his best for workers ànd the present administration is sustaining the work , what I think the government should do is to improve the packages and make work environment friendly for workers to enable maximum productivity.” He said.
“The situation in Edo State Labour Congress requires the supernatural intervention of God almighty and I believe he will use the national headquarters to solve the problem very soon “.
