The Executive Chairman of Egor Local Government Council, Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo, today held a strategic meeting with the Egor Road Makers at the Council Secretariat, Uselu, where the team provided an update on their ongoing efforts to maintain and improve road conditions across the locality.
During the engagement, the Road Makers outlined the progress recorded so far in various parts of the community, highlighting key areas where significant cleaning and maintenance work had been carried out. They reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring that roads within Egor remain motorable and safe for residents, commuters, and businesses.
Hon. Osaro Osa Eribo commended the team for their diligence, dedication, and the visible improvements achieved under the current maintenance drive. He urged them to take full advantage of the dry season to consolidate their work, accelerate clearing, and address areas that require urgent attention. The Chairman also pointed out specific locations where immediate intervention is needed, emphasizing the importance of sustained road upkeep in supporting economic activities and easing movement within the council area.
Responding, the Coordinator of the Egor Road Makers assured the Chairman that the concerns raised will soon be fully addressed. He noted that the team has already put modalities in place to mitigate the challenges identified and pledged that residents will begin to see even greater improvements in the coming weeks.
