Edo LP Constitute Campaign Council,Suspends Youth Leader,,Others For Anti Party Activities

The Edo state chapter of labour party,LP, has. constituted the party’s campaign council which will be coordinating the campaign activities ahead of the September 19 Guber election.

The campaign Council will have Rev. Sam Omede as Director General, Hon. Richard Edosa, Edo South Deputy Director General, Comrade and Ehikioya Agboga, Edo Central Deputy Director General

“Other pivotal members of the State Campaign Council includes Senator representing Edo South Senatorial District,Senator Neda Imasuen, the representative of Oredo Federal Constituency, Hon. Esosa, Iyawe and the representative of Egor/Ikpoba Oha federal Constituency, Hon. Murphy Osaro Omoruyi”.

Speaking at the ceremony which took place at the party secretariat,, the state chairman of the party Comrade Kelly Ogbaloi appealed to Party Faithfuls and the obedient supporters to join hands with the party Governorship Candidate, Olumide Apkata io rescue Edo State during the next election.

Comrade Kelly who was in the company of the State Executive members of the party commended members for the support rendered to the growth of the Party and charged them to show more commitment even as the campaign kicked off.

He Condemed the anti party activities of some members of the Party, saying the party can not afford to accommodate executive officers who engaged in anti party activities as Labour Party agenda is distinct and has no relationship with Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in any form.

He similarly announced the suspension of the State Youth Leader, deputy Youth Leader of Edo North, Aloa Emmanuel, Engr. Jolly Isokpehi, Hon. Simeon Akharame, Iredia Sunday, Victor Omokpo and Arch. Lucky Imhanmwuokor over anti party activities.
