Edo NUJ Presents Award Of Excellence To Engineer Ethan Uzamere For Effective Performance

The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Edo State Council, led by Comrade Festus Alenkhe has presented an Award of Excellence to the Commissioner For Roads and Bridges, Engineer Ethan Uzamere for the excellent job he is doing in Edo state.

Comrade Festus Alenkhe while presenting the Award commended the Commissioner for working in line with Governor Godwin Obaseki’s MEGA agenda which has brought succor to many sectors in the State.

” Your Ministry is very significant in the scheme of things in Edo State and we are using this Award to inform you that we are taking cognizance of your performance and to encourage you to continue in what you are doing”.

Speaking, the Hon. Commissioner for Road and Bridges, Engineer Ethan Uzamere lauded Comrade Festus Alenkhe’s leadership style for having conducted the affairs of the Union in a unique way.

He noted that despite the influx of new media, the Union has remain resolute in promoting the ethics of the Profession by upholding truth in all his dealings.

He however dedicated the honour to Governor Godwin Obaseki whom he said has worked tirelessly in making Edo Great Again by creating the enabling environment to make life easier for Edo People.

Hon. Ethan said is time to promote good leaders who can formulate good policies that can help the system to work efficiently.

He stressed that for Edo state or Nigeria to work, all Citizens need to change their mindset and place the general interest above their personal needs.

“When we have a system that work, we will do better as a People”.
