The Acting Managing Director of Edo City Transport Services (ECTS) Mrs. Hauwa Dupe Ohikhuai has attributed the success story recorded so far in the transport organization to God almighty as she said Edo City Transport Services ECTS structure is built on God and the sterling qualities of the State Governor, Godwin Obaseki who has brought in human face to transportation business in the state.
She stated this in her office at ECTS when members of Federated Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Edo State Council paid her a courtesy visit.
She said the Governor Godwin Obaseki vision to make life easier for Edo people has been the driving force behind the milestone achievement in the transport organization.
She noted that God being their structure has given the State Governor,Godwin Obaseki the welwithal and wisdom to ensure the transport organization operate in a friendly environment.
She also said that members of the Staff pray at the beginning of the month and at the end of every month praising God for all His mercies and faithfulness towards Edo State Government.
She further commended her Ex Boss, Mrs. Edughie Agbolanhor who has not just serve as a mentor but a motivator that has inspired her in administrative management.
She added that the state government is on top gear to add more buses for the smooth and effective running of ECTS,
She commended the Çhairperson of Federated Chapel, Mercy Onyenweli for leading the Chapel members to her office.
” Being a Woman means that you would have worked extremely hard to clinch the position of leading the Chapel. I usually advise young women working under me to be hardworking and as well as being inspired to achieve more positive results in their career”.
She stressed further that what a Man can do, a Woman needs extra work to achieve it, same with uncommon vigour.
She however appreciated the duo of Comrade Roland Osakue, the immediate past Chairman of NUJ and Comrade Edosa who heavily assisted her in the operations of public relations roles at ECTS.
She generally appreciated them for the seamless recipes they gave her each time ECTS got new fleet of buses. She generally assured the members of Federated Chapel that they will be hearing a cheering news from them in no distant time.
Speaking earlier, the Çhairperson of Federated Chapel, Onyenweli Mercy commended the government transport organization for engaging women drivers who have made commercial transportation interesting.
According to her, this is one of the beautiful things about Godwin Obaseki led administration,that women can do what men can do as well.
She however assured the Acting Managing Director, Mrs Hauwa Dupe OHIKHUAI that members of the chapel will always provide the necessary publicity needed.
