As part of the fulfilment of his campaign promises, the Ovia south west Local government chairman, Hon. Engr. Edosa Enomwoghomwenma had organised the maiden Edition of Talent hunt in the council area.
The program aimed at encouraging talent development in the area fixture selected artist who had prequalified for the grand finale after series of zonal competitions across selected centres in the locality.
Addressing dignitaries at the occasion, Hon. Chairman, Edosa Enomwoghomwenma noted that the talent hunt program was in fulfilment of his campaign promises to the people and also aimed at showcasing the heralds of talents in Ovia.
He pointed out that Ovia is blessed with so much human resources and talents that can compete with their contemporaries in the state and beyond.
Hon. Edosa said the mayors from the grand finale will be exposed to the facilities in the Victor Uwaifo cultural hub and possibly get endorsements that will turn their fortunes around.
He admonished the youths to take to legal means of earning money as against cutting corners and involving in crimes and criminality.
The talent hunt which was in collaboration with Zenith Bank is the first in the series and an initiative of the Oduwa led government of Hon. Edosa Enomwoghomwenma.
Highpoints of the ceremony was the official presentation of prices to the winners admist cheers and jubilation.
