Ovia southwest council boss Engr Edosa Enomwoghomwenma today joined all well meaning Ovia sons and daughters to celebrate the fourth year anniversary of Iguobazuwa Progressive Minds (IPM).
Speaking during the ceremony, Engr Edosa noted that with collective collaboration the much needed development we all yearned for in Ovia is achievable.
He stresses the need for all to ensure that they give back to their communities through platforms like IPM so as to contribute their quota to the community development.
Engr Edosa also used the opportunity to highlight some of the achievements of his administration which includes but not limited to the attraction of Army Base to curtail any form of insecurity in the locality and the distribution of Igho Eki Oduwa among others.
He affirmed that this achievement cannot have been done without the cooperation of Ovia sons and daughters who he said has continued to show commitment to the course of his administration.
The council boss charges dignitaries present to take environmental cleanliness as very important to better reposition the local government in its rightful place.
He further mentioned that Ovia South West LGA being an agrarian local government remains the food basket of Edo and beyond and as such deserves all the necessary assistance to keep the community safe for a robust economic viability. To this end, he noted that the present security architecture being put in place by his administration will address all the security concerns in the community and urge the people to cooperate with the security agencies to achieve this goal.
