Leaders of Ovia South-west chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had held a strategic meeting as part of preparation towards the upcoming September 2024 gubernatorial elections in Edo State. The gathering which focused on addressing key issues related to party organization and strengthening the party’s position ahead of the upcoming gubernatorial Election held at the residence of Hon. J. E. Amowie.
During the meeting, party leaders engaged in productive discussions, exploring effective strategies to enhance the party’s structure, mobilize support, and ensure a united front in the face of the impending election.
The meeting demonstrated the party’s commitment to unity, cooperation, and collective growth.
Addressing the press after the close door meeting, the executive chairman of Ovia Southwest Local Government area.
Hon Edosa Enowoghomwenma noted that Ovia Southwest PDP is more committed to delivery Asuen Ighodalo/Osarodion Ogie come September 2024. He noted that Ovia southwest PDP has agreed to take its campaign to the doorsteps of the electorate and promised that Ovia will come out with massive votes that reflects the wish and voices of the people come September 2024.
On his part, a leader of the Party and two-time Local government chairman in Ovia, Pa J.E Amowie urged the people to be more united than ever as the September election is all about continuity of good governance and infrastructural development in Edo State. He maintained that Ovia people has always spoken in one voice and promised that come September 2024 gubernatorial election, the Asuen Ighodalo/Osarodion Ogie mandate will be sealed by a resounding victory in the polls and Ovia will stand tall in ensuring this victory.
The outcome of the meeting reflected a renewed sense of purpose and dedication among party members, as they work together towards a common goal. With a strengthened resolve and a clear vision, the Ovia South-west PDP is poised to make a significant impact in the forthcoming election.
