The Riverine Peace Initiative in Niger Delta has described the recent assassination of it’s member, retired CSP Ebikebina Orubiri as cruel and inhuman .
The statement which was signed and made known to newsmen by the National President, Comrade Mulade Toluwa and Secretary General, Comrade Peters German of RPIND in Abuja said it received with a shock the sad news of the sudden death of its member, Retired CSP Ebikebina Orubiri who until his death was an active member of the Peace Advocacy Group.
According to a family source , CSP Ebikebina Orubiri was shot in his residential building in warri, Delta State recently by two unknown gun Men who were dressed in black and masked up completely
“We are deeply sad about this occurrence and we are calling on the Delta State Governor and the Inspector General of Police to rise and ensure that the perpetuators of this dastardly acts are meant to face the law” the statement added
The suden death of our beloved friend, and member of the RPIND, is a cry for justice as I urge the relevant security agency to ensure proper investigation Is done to bring the killers to face the law .
