The Sports Writers’ Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Edo State Chapter, has extended warm congratulations to the Executive Chairman of the Edo State Sports Commission, Hon. Amadin Desmond Enabulele, on his well-deserved recognition at the prestigious Sportsville Special Recognition Awards.
In a statement signed by Comrade Idahosa Moses, Secretary of Edo SWAN, the association described Enabulele as an exceptional, visionary, and result-driven sports administrator whose leadership continues to redefine and elevate sports development in Edo State.
SWAN noted that his conferment with the Sportsville Special Recognition Award in the Visionary Leadership category is a fitting tribute to a man whose foresight, passion, and administrative expertise have repositioned Edo State as a formidable force in Nigerian sports.
The association further commended his instrumental role in guiding the state to a historic first-place finish at the 2nd Niger Delta Games—an achievement described as unprecedented in over two decades.
Edo SWAN also lauded Enabulele’s humility in dedicating the award to the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, highlighting the importance of synergy between leadership and government support in driving sustainable sports development.
