The newly elected Chairperson of Nigerian Association of Women journalists, (NAWOJ) Edo State Council , Comrade Habiba Sam has charged Edo Women to report cases of violence against girl child and Women to ministry of women affairs.
She stated this at Oba Market during NAWOJ sensitization Campaign in commemoration of 16 Days Activism against gender based violence in Benin City.
Leading members of the association in the campaign, she stressed that women should stop abusing their house maids to avoid being prosecuted .
The Market Campaign ended with NAWOJIANS explaining to market Women on the need to be safe in their marriages while report issues of sexual abused and violence against their rights
