Onaghise Osaretin Daniel-Ero an APC member and the party’s former House of Assembly aspirant, has commended Governor Monday Okpebholo for the administration’s visible strides in infrastructure across Edo State.

Ero said the construction of flyovers in Benin City would reduce traffic congestion, improve road safety, and boost economic activity in the capital. He also noted that ongoing road rehabilitation in several communities shows the government’s commitment to expanding access to quality roads.

While applauding the pace of development and its impact on residents, he urged the government to extend similar projects to rural and underserved areas.

On security, Ero praised security agencies for arresting suspects in a recent Benin City kidnapping case, describing it as a positive step. He called for increased collaboration between citizens and law enforcement to keep Edo safe.

He also urged eligible residents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards and to participate peacefully in the July 11, 2026 Local Government Elections, noting that voter turnout is key to strengthening grassroots democracy in Edo State.
