It was a moment of joy and celebration as the daughter of the President of the Conference of Non-Governmental Organizations (CONGO), Dr. Bartholomew Okoudo, tied the knot with her beloved, Mr. Silver Nosakhere, over the weekend.
The traditional marriage ceremony, held at the family compound of Dr. Okoudo, attracted a distinguished gathering of personalities from the development sector, media, and government circles.
The event was marked by vibrant cultural displays, heartfelt moments, and an atmosphere of unity and festivity.
Admonishing the couple, the Chairman of the occasion, Chief Makole Omo Azugbene charged the couples to always put God first in all their endeavours and to sustain the love that brought them together, regardless of circumstances. He also prayed that God Almighty would bless and keep their union forever.
Also speaking, the father of the bride, Dr. Bartholomew Okoudo, expressed great joy in giving his daughter’s hand in marriage and wished the couple success in their new home.
Guests were treated to a colourful celebration that reflected both tradition and elegance, as family, friends, and well-wishers came together to honour the couple’s union.
present at the occasion was the Honourable Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation and Humanitarian Affairs, Hon. Barr. Marie Olabisi Idaomi amongst other dignitaries, families and well wishers of the couples amongst others.
High point of the event was the cutting of the marriage cake and the nuptial feeding ceremony
