Ahead of the Edo Governorship Party primaries scheduled for January 2024, Hon Dekeri Anemero Danco has formally declared his intention to contest for the Governorship seat on the All progressive congress APC platform.
He made the declaration at the State Secretariat of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Benin City,
According to Anamero ,if nominated and voted as the Governor of Edo State, he would provide free education for all Edo Students in public Schools from primary to Secondary Education.
Mr. Anemero who decried the pace of poor leadership in the State stressed that his over 20 years experience in the private sector has prepared him on how bring the desired development that would impact on the lives and wellbeing of Edo People positively.
While addressing the leadership of All Progressive Congress, he unveils his Manifestoes which he said will focus on Agriculture, Education, Health Care, provision of well-constructed road network across the width and breath of the State, provision of electricity and others.
He further revealed the impact he has created in the private sector through the Anemero Foundation which according to him has been able to provide sola electricity, repairs of roads, building and renovating of school blocks within his community, empowering vulnerable people and People with Special needs across the state, while over 5,000 students have also benefited from his bursary project in the tertiary institution.
Applauding the creative ability of Edo People which he said has been under harnessed noted that his administration would help create the enabling environment for the people to express their creative ability without restrictions.
Mr. Anemero said Teachers will be exposed to continuous training to enhance their teaching capacities while his administration will also revamp the Agricultural sector to increase food production with adequate security in the grassroots to boost farmers courage to farm extensively.
According to him, about 4,000 jobs will be provided for Edo People through the Initative that has been outlined to reduce unemployment in the State.
In a similar development, Dekeri Anemero also dedicated his Campaign office at Ikpopkan ,GRA , Benin City where he addressed Newsmen in Edo State.
He commended Journalists for their doggedness over the years while he stressed that the present leadership of the State Government has abysmally failed and requires a bail out as Edo People are seriously going through hard time.
He further condemned the proponents of zoning which he said produced incompetent leaders who feel entitled to the position not minding their inexperience to lead the people.
He added that the turn by turn mentality is dangerous to the over all development of the State and should be condemned in all ramifications.
