Egbe Egite holds family re-union ……calls for more family participation

As part of measures to sustain the love and unity of extended family members, the Egbe Egite family in Evbuodobian in Orhionmwon Local Government Area in Edo state has held their annual get together party in a grand style.

The Get-together party which attracted those within Edo State and in the Diaspora saw all the Egbe Egite family members exchanging pleasantries .

Declaring the occasion open, the Chairman of Egbe Egite family , Chief Francis Aghedo appreciated all that graced the occasion and charged them to sustain the bond and love that exist in the extended family.

“As Africans, we are known for our culture and part of our culture is sustaining the family tree. This, we must keep doing so that our children’s children will acknowledge where they come from”.

Also speaking, the Secretary of the Egbe Egite family, Ikponwonsa Omoruwa said the annual get-together became imperative to accelerate harmony and progress amongst family members.

He appreciated members of the family that organized the Get-together party as he noted that prosperity abounds in families where unity and love thrive.

Some members of the family who also expressed their satisfaction on the Get-together party took their turns to call on other members of the family in Diaspora to join the annual get-together party as it helps to sustain their love and unity.

Highpoint of the event was eating, drinking and dancing in merriment.
