The indigenes of Obayantor 1 has been advise to come back home as Peace has been restored to its fullest with the support of local and State security agencies.
Addressing Newsmen in Obanyantor 1 Community hall, the Community Secretary General, David Omorogbe in company of the Enogie , Elders in Council and the Youths urged all indigenes who deserted the village out of fear of insecurity to come back home as Peace has been restored in the Community.
Speaking further, the Secretary General Mr. Omorogbe states that the Enogie and Elders-In-Council have reached a resolution that all those who own properties in Obanyantor 1 should be notified that verifications of plot of lands sales commences from May 30th to August 18th, 2023 at the palace of Enogie adding that the days for the verification exercise shall be Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday every week and the sitting proper begins from Tuesday May 30th, 2023.
According to Omorogie, those who purchased landed properties should endeavor to make themselves with the relevant documents available for the verifications to enable the community elders resolve land issues in the communities.
He warned that any property owners in Obanyantor 1 who failed to turn up for the verification exercise within the stipulated period risk the right of ownership of the supposed properties.
He added that the verification exercise is headed by Elder Godwin Aghimien, Ozukpogieha of Obayantor 1 Community as every relevant documents with which transactions were made by parties involved should be submitted to the head of the committee for verification.
Speaking, the Ozukpogieha of Obayantor 1 Community, Elder Aghimien states that the Enogie and Elders-In-Council are intadem with the verification excerise as he advised Property owners to adhere to the call for verification to enable smooth running of activities in the Community.
He added that the verification exercise is a good step in the right direction thereby all parties involved should be amicably sorted out.
The Okaeghele of Obayantor 1 Community Mr. Osatohounoen Oduwa concurred with the uncommon submissions both the general secretary Omorogbe and Ozukpogieha, Elder Aghimien made as urging all the indigenes to come back home as peace is restored for massive developments of their community.
