Strengthening Security:Ovia South-West Council Boss holds a crucial Security Meeting with ESSVN

As part of its continued effort to bolster security within Ovia South-west local government area, the Executive Chairman of the council, Engr Edosa Enomwoghomwenma today met with all Sector Commands of the Edo State Security Network (ESSN) convened for a crucial Security Meeting at the Council Secretariat Hall, Iguobazuwa.

The gathering which was also attended by Religious Leaders, and the Director of SIB, Ovia South-west, underscored the collective commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our local government.

Addressing the assembly, the chairman emphasized the paramount importance of vigilance and proactive engagement in the discharge of security duties. He further Stressed the need for heightened alertness by the security operatives to create a more secured environment for the rural dwellers.
Hon Edosa reiterated the call for all officers to remain vigilant and proactive in their roles as security operatives, emphasizing the critical role they play in safeguarding our communities.

The council boss noted that as a way to reciprocate excellence and commitment to work, performing Sector Command will be recognized and rewarded.

Expressing gratitude to the officers for their unwavering dedication and commitment to the cause of security, Hon Edosa reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to prioritizing the needs of ESSVN, Ovia South-west, assuring continued support and collaboration.

On their part, the security personnel promise to continually put in their best to forestall any form of insecurity in the local government council.

The meeting served as a testament to the collaborative spirit and shared determination to fortify security measures within Ovia South-west Local Government, reflecting a unified resolve to confront challenges and uphold the safety and well-being of our communities.
