Vote Not Fight, Election No be war STC team storms Abehe Baptist church,sensitize members on PVC collection, others

The Resident Pastor of Abehe Baptist Church in Oba Market , Pastor Friday Ekhator, has admonished  members of his congregation to help Vote Not Fight, Election no be war to spread the message of  violence free election to their various locations across the state.

Pastor Friday Ekhator stated this while commending members of Vote Not Fight Election no be war STC team who paid visit to Abehe Baptist Church to sensitize the people on the need to eschew hate speech and resist vote buyers in the general election.

Addressing members of the church, Edo STC Coordinator 11, Comrade Edwin Asibor encouraged the people to eschew hate speech even as they campaign for their various candidates.

Comrade Edwin Asibor further charged the Congregants on the need to Pick up their PVCs as INEC has extended the date for collection.

He added that Vote Buyers and Vote Sellers risk jail term as specified in the electoral acts and  should be resisted in all ramifications.

Members of Abhehe Baptist Church were however encouraged to vote their conscience in the Feb general election.
