The Management of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, has taken note of a recent publication circulating on social media and other platforms alleging a crisis within the institution.

This was disclosed in a press statement signed by the head of Information ,Protocol and Public Relations of AAU, Otunba Mike Akadenika in Benin City.

According to the statement, such a publication would not warrant a response, given its apparent lack of substance and factual inaccuracies.

However, in the interest of setting the record straight and reassuring stakeholders, the University considers it necessary to address the issue.

The report in question is nothing more than a fabrication—an imaginative piece designed to misinform the public and create unwarranted concern about the state of affairs in the University.
Contrary to the claims made, there is no crisis whatsoever in Ambrose Alli University.

The institution remains stable, focused, and unwavering in its commitment to academic excellence, research, and community development.
Management, under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Eunice Eîboiserehimen Omonzejie, continues to work in harmony with all principal officers and staff to sustain the progress achieved in recent months.

Assertions of administrative chaos or internal discord are entirely unfounded and exist only in the imagination of the report’s author.

For clarity, the redeployment of the former Bursar by the Edo State Government to his academic role is a routine administrative measure aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.

This action forms part of broader efforts to reposition the University for optimal performance.

While the affected officer reserves the right to seek lawful redress, such actions do not in any way constitute a crisis within the institution. AAU, as a corporate entity, remains committed to its forward trajectory in line with established policies and directives.

Furthermore, there is no personal conflict between the Vice-Chancellor and any Principal Officer of the University, including the Registrar.

What may have been misconstrued as disagreement are standard administrative processes and professional engagements typical of higher institutions globally.

Management continues to uphold a culture of mutual respect, due process, and collective responsibility, where divergent views are constructively resolved through established channels for the overall good of the University.

The Management of Ambrose Alli University remains fully aligned with the vision and development agenda of the Edo State Government.

These guiding principles remain sacrosanct and continue to inform all decisions and actions of the University leadership.

Stakeholders, students, staff, and the general public are hereby urged to disregard the misleading publication and remain assured that AAU is stable, focused, and making steady progress
