In a strong demonstration of responsive leadership and commitment to grassroots development, the Executive Chairman of Oredo Local Government Council, Gabriel Iduseri, has taken swift action to rehabilitate the failed portion of the road at Igun Junction along First East Circular Road in Benin City, bringing much-needed relief to residents and motorists.
The intervention followed complaints from residents and road users over the hardship caused by the damaged stretch, particularly during the rainy season.
Speaking on the development, Hon. Iduseri stated that the prompt response reflects his administration’s dedication to grassroots development.
He noted that the initiative aligns with the Project SHINE Agenda of His Excellency, Monday Okpebholo.
He further emphasized that the road maintenance was carried out in collaboration with the appropriate authorities to ensure durability and quality delivery.
Residents, including Mr. Ebosele Kokori, commended the Council Chairman for the timely intervention.
They also praised the administration of Governor Okpebholo for advancing the Project SHINE Agenda through the Oredo Local Government Council under the leadership of Hon. Iduseri.
In the same vein, the Council Chairman inspected ongoing works and drainage systems at Oba Market, reaffirming his commitment to improving environmental and commercial conditions across the Local Government Area.
