The Edo South Senatorial Candidate for Labour Party, Barr. Neda Imasuen has appealed to executive members in Ovia North East to join forces together and work as a team ahead of the 2023 general election.
Barr. Neda Imasuen who was represented by his media aide, Mr. Edugie Osagieduwa stated that the only way to achieve maximum success in the upcoming election is when members of the party work as a team and deliver Peter Obi and all other candidates.
According to him, the upcoming election requires adequate cooperation to enable labour party defeat opposition parties.
Speaking earlier, the LGA party chairman,Mr. Nosa Uwaifo charged candidates of the party to expedite actions to kick start campaigns across the Senatorial district.
He assured the candidates that there are enough members to join the campaign train.
He further advised members of the party who are in a haste to get campaign started to remain calm as plans are ongoing for effective and result oriented campaign.
It had in attendance the House of Reps candidate for Ovia Federal constituency Mrs Osayuki Asemota, the candidates for Edo State House of Assembly, Ovia North East constituency 1 and 2, Ovia LGA Labour Party Executives and the executives of the ward.
A number of support groups were also in attendance, working with the party to deliver candidates for the election
