The Managing Director of Edo Geographic Information Service ,(EdoGIS) , Mrs Grace Aihie Osaro has provided succour for female staff of the establishment in taking care of their wards while at work with the provision of creche within the premises.
The creche which is located in a serene environment is designed to accommodate 50 wards with two caregivers to take care of the pupils .
Some of the Staff of EdoGIS whose children are enrolled in the creche in an interview commended the Initiative of the Managing Director of EdoGIS, noting that the creche has helped to reduced the stress associated with school runs.
An accountant with the establishment, Mrs Edith Eboigbe ,said the creche has helped her to take care of her little girl mostly during breastfeeding.
“This innovation by the State Government is a laudable one and I think it should be sustained because it will help alot of breastfeeding Mothers to be committed to their work. ”
When you are working and knowing that your child is in a safe hand, it helps you to give in your best , this has helped me to remain focus and I urge other mothers to embrace this lofty idea and save themselves from the stress of running up and down “.
Also speaking, a caregivers at the creche appealed to the State Government help to make available some items that would help to further beautified the environment with an improved renumeration for the caregivers.
